A research service for permit workflows
Learn from the
correction letters.
Give your permitting team or agent source-linked examples of what a jurisdiction has asked applicants to correct. Start with one city, one permit class and one code cycle.
Commission an evidence packet ↗What does a record contain?
Illustrative format below. Synthetic example, not an actual city finding.
“Identify the proposed occupant load and show the calculation on the plan.”
- Jurisdiction
- To be scoped
- Permit class
- Commercial tenant improvement
- Code edition
- Recorded from the source; not inferred
- Observation
- Reviewer requested an explicit calculation
- Provenance
- Source file, page, date and record identifier
- Coverage note
- One observation cannot establish a general rule
Where does coverage stop?
A correction from a different city, a different project type or an older code edition may be irrelevant. Each packet states what was collected, what could not be obtained and which observations need professional interpretation.
The deliverable pairs source documents with structured records for retrieval or agent workflows. We can include document identifiers, review dates, correction categories, quoted passages and coverage notes in CSV and JSON.
What records can we obtain?
Tell us the jurisdiction and permit class you work in. Before a paid collection begins, we check whether suitable records are accessible and whether their use fits the intended purpose. Restricted material and confidential applicant files need separate permission. Applicant identifiers are minimized, and plan drawings are excluded from redistribution in the pilot.
How should your team use the packet?
We distinguish a reviewer’s observation from a code requirement and from our interpretation. Your permitting professional reviews any conclusions used in a project. The packet supports research; it does not certify code compliance or promise an approval.
